Player Pledge for GLL/GJBA

PARENTS & GUARDIANS - PLEASE READ THIS WITH YOUR PLAYER

• I love my country and will respect its laws.
• I will play fair and strive to win.
• But win or lose, I will always do my best.
• I will encourage good sportsmanship from fellow players, coaches, umpires, and parents at every game and practice by demonstrating good sportsmanship myself.
• I will listen to and learn from my coaches.
• I will encourage my parents to somehow be involved with my team because it’s important to me.
• I will let my parents, guardians, and/or coaches know if playing baseball is no longer fun.
• I will do my very best in school.
• I will remember that baseball is an opportunity to learn and have fun.
