For each game at Wolf Park and/or Camp George West, GLL/GJBA utilizes & relies upon parents, guardians, siblings, and family members to assist the facility owner PVMD with preparing and maintaining the playing field.  The Head Coach of the Away Team shall designate volunteer parents/guardians for these tasks as applicable.  Starting no less than 45 minutes prior to the start of the game, designated volunteers shall at minimum chalk the batter’s box and foul lines and also install the bases.  The wheeled chalk hopper, bags of chalk, stringline, and a batters box template are located at each field (as applicable).  The use of hand rakes and tampers allow for ideal/safe playing conditions to be created in conjunction with water hoses.
